Project Transitions raised over $72,000 at the 18th Annual Holiday Swing. We had a great time and we hope you did as well. We greatly appreciate the support.
Top Drawer Couture '07
Top Drawer Couture '07, was a phenomenal event featurng reconstructed clothing made from items taken from the racks of Top Drawer Thrift, as well as original styles created by local designers.
First and foremost, Project Transitions would like to thank April Skinner and the rest of the Almost Impatient Productions team for their outstanding effort and a flawless show (not to mention the sweet pipe and drape which they created for the store). A big debt of gratitude is due to our co-emcees: the Austin Chronicle's Stephen Moser and Mix 94.7's Miss Kitty. Thank you also to local performance artists The Red Teasers, and the bands who performed during our pre-show tent sale: The Studebakers, Frantic Mantra, The Guise, Brooks Chambers, Muchos Backflips! and Muppletone. Finally, thanks are in order to Susan B. Hammer for her ongoing support of Project Transitions and Top Drawer Thrift.
